Eiffel Tower

July 1st – Tuesday

We decided to take a metro adventure and try to end up at the Tour Eiffel. It was a little more of a challenge today as a couple of the lines were closed for repairs. But we did pretty well and only had to back track once during the day As always the Eiffel Tower is an amazing structure and we stood in awe from a distance, then closer and then underneath. Wow.

Off to the Tuilleuirs garden in front of the Louvre. Not really having time to visit the Louvre we walked in the garden and looked at the amazing building. It is so huge it just tires me to think of going inside to see anything! I have been before so I know how special it is and also how tiring it can be.
There was a big carnival on the side of the gardens. They had the biggest Ferris wheel I've ever seen. Lots of rides looked pretty awesome and enough to get you screaming!

We made it back to the hotel rather tired, thirsty and hungry. We scrounged our food sack and had some snacks and spent some time on the computer. Computer skills were coming easier as well as the system for logging in.

That night we walked in the quarter and had a crepe to finish our stay in Paris.
